Kess Ktag KSuite V2.37 Test Report and Installation

KSuite V2.37 is newly tested working fine on the available Kess V2 / Ktag master clone. Below parts will include KSuite V2.37 workable interfaces, test report on vehicles / protocols/ functions/ special BMW MED17/MEV17 ECUs and installation guide.

Main step 1. Click "Setup 2.37" to install ksuite driver.

Main step 2. Back to the desktop, right click icon "Ksuite", then "Properties", then "Find target", delete folder " Help", then back to Ksuite V2.37 folder and copy folder "Help" and paste it to C:\ksuite\ksuite.exe

Main step 3. Plug Kess V2 master / Ktag master interface to the computer.

If you install Ksuite V2.37 on a XP computer, you will get a dialog "Found new hardware."

edc15/16/17 basics work fine.. Kline an Can ok

lot of denso ok ,tested today on 2016 navarra 2.5L 144hp (7059) all fine..via OBD of course (check ktag for jtag,tricore and others... )

VERY IMPORTANT TIPS: you’d better read it before your purchase

KESS V2 is a ECU programming tool that is perfect for OBD use, while KTag is perfect for Jtag, BDM and all the Boot application (tricore and ST10).

With KESS V2 you programming directly through the OBD port of the vehicle, while with Ktag you need to take apart the ECU and open it, after you can make the read/write operation.

Many ECU has the advantage that can be read and write from OBD port (so KESS V2 is perfect), but there are lot ECU that need to disassemble from the car and open and this is the case for all the ECU that need to be programmed with Jtag, BDM and Bootprotocols, so KTAG is needed.

So, if you read and write from OBD port and program with Jtag, BDM and Boot protocols, you must go to KESS + KTAG together. If not, do not waste money in your pocket.
